Mustak Ahmed is a professor of Mass Communication and Journalism at University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He earned a BSS in Mass Communication and Journalism at same University, and MSS in Mass Communication from University of Rajshahi, and awarded Ph.D. in Mass Communication and Journalism (Media, People with Disabilities: Government Policy of Bangladesh) from RU. His current research interests include Political communication, ICTs, AI, Communication, Critical Discourse Analysis, Representations, Social Media and Disability Studies. He enjoys helping students overcome their inhibitions in sharing their ideas and talents.
Ahmed has produced six academic books. He is a songwriter and has authored several research articles in national and international peer reviewed journal. A faculty member since 2002, he is trained in International Humanitarian Laws, Citizen Journalism, AMIC and worked with Danida, Denmark, CJEN, DW Akademie and SDA , Switzerland. Originally from 2010, he has participated in different International Conference in China, Thailand, Philippine and India. He has achieved ‘Best Teacher Award-2018’ from SAMA. His outside interests include world Classical Music, outdoor activities, and long driving. Mustak thoroughly enjoys in participate television screen talks show in Bangladesh
