WORK EXPERIENCE

 1. As a university teacher

·         Now working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

  
2. Part time job involvement

a.  January 1, 2020 to till date— serving as the Coordinator (Part-time) , Department of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies, Varendra University, Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

b. September 2016 to December 31, 2019— serving as the Part-time teacher, Department of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies, Varendra University, Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

3. As a trainer

·         Working as a trainer of PATC (Public Administration Training Centre.) in Rajshahi on Mass Media and Public Relations.

·         Also working with the Radio Padma ( a community radio based on Rajshahi) as a core trainer to train their reporters and program makers.

·         Worked with the Association for Community Development (ACD) a non-government organization based in Rajshahi, Bangladesh as a trainer. I participated as a trainer in a two-day long (26-27  November, 2008)  training program on Investigative Journalism to Establish Land Rights for Women where working journalists of Rajshahi were the participants.

·         Worked as a Trainer, Training pool of Development Internship Program organized by Barendra Unnayan Forum, a non-government organization based in Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2008.

·         Worked as a trainer of PIB (Press Institute of Bangladesh.) on Basic Journalism.

·         Continuously working with the  Centre for Communication and Development (CCD), Bangladesh, a knowledge-based non-government organization. I have been working as a trainer of training pool of CCD since 2004 to date. CCD regularly organizes training for  journalists, young professionals, female students coming from graduate and under graduate level, young students from indigenous community and so on . On behalf of CCD, I conducted more than 40 training sessions on basic journalism, gender and development issues, rights of indigenous people and human rights, AIDS issues etc.
