I am a social epidemiologist focusing on quantitative research. My areas of interests includes gender-based violence, pregnancy intention, women autonomy, and maternal and child health and nutrition. My research focuses on to quantify the relationship between the experience of intimate partner violence and health of mother and their children using different statistical methods. I have more than 10 years of experience working on intimate partner violence, women autonomy and reproductive health related issues in Bangladesh. Many of my research articles have been published in top-tier scientific journals. I have a strong research group working on gender-based violence in Bangladesh in collaboration with other researchers from the USA and Japan.
