Population and Demographic Data

This course offers students to the understanding of population studies demography seeks to analyze human populations and profile them in terms of their salient characteristics and the composition that influence these characteristics.

Population, Resource and Environment (B-PHR-307)

The aims of the course are to equip students with knowledge regarding population, resources and environmental pollution and degradation. The key aim is to introduce students to the consequential behavior of population, resources and environment.

Population, Environment and Sustainable Development (M. POPS - 504)

This course provides a comprehensive picture of the various principles, concepts, and methods applicable to environmental problems, and relates these methods to underlying guiding principles and the adjacent policy measures that are related to SDG.

As a geodemographer I have a great focus on quantitative research based on demographics and geospatial tools. My areas of interests includes hypertension, diabetes, environmental impact, intimate partner violence, maternal & child health, and geospatial analysis. I was participated in training workshops  at the Indian Statistical Institute  (India), Department of Statistics (RU, BD).  I also joined at different national and international seminar and conference at home and abroad (India) and participated in a research team of University of Tokyo (Japan).
