Dr. Rashedul Islam is a lecturer at the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Rajshahi (on study leave). He is now working as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Applied Chemistry at Kyushu University, Japan. His research focuses on Advanced Transdermal Drug Delivery; especially, nucleic acid and protein delivery using biocompatible Ionic liquid as a novel carrier. Dr. Rashedul received his Ph.D. degree from the very same department at Kyushu University. Before that, he completed bachelor's and MS from the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He also worked in one of the top pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh as Assistant Manager, Quality Control. He is familiar with analytical chemistry, in vitro drug delivery, formulation, characterization, and in vivo animal experiments.
