Mr. Rudrendu Ray is an Associate Professor at the Department of Marketing, University of Rajshahi in Bangladesh. Recently, he has obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree under the Faculty of Business, Curtin University, Malaysia. Prior to this, he has also received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He has nine years of teaching experience in the field of Marketing.


His research interest mainly addresses Social Media Marketing, Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), Entrepreneurship, and Tourism Management. Along with Qualitative Method, his research mainly focused on the Quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). He has published several articles in different recognized scholarly journals.


He received various prestigious scholarships which include the Australian Government supported Curtin Sarawak Post Graduate Research Scholarship (CSPRS) for MPhil and Nippon Foundation, Japan-funded Bangladesh Scholarship Council (BSC) for BBA. He supervises many research students at MBA level at the Department of Marketing, University of Rajshahi.

 

In addition, Mr. Ray also served as an Assistant Proctor at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh from 6th October 2013 to 5th October 2016.
