Job summary:
Md Earul Islam has joined at Materials Science and Engineering Department in University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh in September 2012. Now, he is a full professor in the department. His main responsibilities are to teach, research, and academic administration. In his teaching includes delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in electronics materials, semiconductor device physics, and machine-related engineering subjects. He also maintains laboratory instruments, examinations. His research focuses on semiconductor device materials design, fabrication, characterization, performance analysis. Research responsibilities also involve publishing scientific papers, obtaining research funding, supervising graduate students, and collaborating with academic and industrial partners. In addition, he contributes to departmental and university administration through participation in committees, curriculum development, accreditation activities, student advising, and strategic planning. Through these activities, he supports education, advances semiconductor research for practical application, and contributes to the overall development of the institution.
