Research Interest  
Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad holding a PhD supported by Monbusho/Monbukagkusho scholarship in the field of Biological and Environmental Systems from Ehime University, Japan as well as a JSPS Postdoc Fellow of Kochi University, Japan. He has reached a 25 year of teaching, research & outrace experiences in soil fertility and crop production, plant nutrient management, controlled environment/greenhouse & hydroponics with sustainable/organic production, transformation and transport of nutrients and pollutants in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, mulching/plasticulture systems, vermicompost, postharvest technology, quality and treatment of soil & water.
