- Research Interest
- My research area indicates the intersection of molecular biology, plant physiology, crop genetics and breeding and controlled environment agriculture. I focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of gene expression regulation, identification of gene location and insertion of target gene in response to genetics, environmental and nutritional factors, with a particular emphasis on hydroponic culture, vertical farming, and greenhouse cultivation systems. I am especially interested in developing strategies for plant nutrition management and exploring the role of LED supplementary lighting in optimizing photosynthesis, fruit development, quality improvement and off-season growing watermelon, strawberry. Additionally, my work aims to enhance the productivity and quality of horticultural crop by integrating advanced technologies in breeding and controlled environment agriculture
