Faiqua Tahjiba is a Lecturer in the Department of Law and Land Administration at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. She is a legal academic, researcher, and advocate with a distinguished record of scholarly achievement. She completed her LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Rajshahi, securing 1st position in both degrees, and is a Gold Medalist as well as a recipient of public university and government scholarships.

Her research focuses on criminology, human rights and social justice, environmental law, legal aid, access to justice, and criminal justice reform. She has authored peer-reviewed journal articles on drug abuse and addiction among students and has published legal analyses on probation, media trials, and the rights of accused persons. Her graduate and undergraduate research monographs cover critical socio-legal issues, including police remand, drug abuse, sexual harassment via social media, and student awareness of legal aid.

Faiqua has presented her research at national and international forums such as the Asian Bioethics Conference, the Annual Conference on Regional Science, and the International Conference on Human Rights and Social Justice. She has also participated in the Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition and the Pre-Jessup Workshop, which enriched her advocacy and international legal experience.

She holds the 7th position in the 17th Bangladesh Judicial Service Examination and is enrolled as an Advocate with the Rajshahi District Bar Association. In addition, she serves as Advisor of the Network for International Law Students (NILS), Rajshahi University Chapter, fostering international legal collaboration and student engagement. Her academic, research, and professional experience demonstrate a deep commitment to legal scholarship, advocacy, and education.
